Govt offices/employees in MY country!

Have you ever been to the following places:

1)Railway station
2)State buses/Metropolitan buses
3)RTO
4)Ration office
5)Collector office

The list goes on and on and on.. Lemme better say the central/state government offices in India?

How do you think we are being treated in these places?
Don't you think we deserve more?

I am so surprised if the people working in government offices feel like the "Customer is King".
Let the customer not be the King, at least he is not a beggar! I wish they understand that!
At least they should work for what they are paid for!
As far as i know, they see Customer Service as a Pain!

I don't want to compare the other countries here. But when I learn from people that Govt offices function better than the private ones, I kinda feel jealous. Why cant it be like that in India?

Every one of us, let us be honest? If there is an option, where would we get our work done, the govt office or a private organisation?

I will seek the latter to be honest because i know, i cant get my work done in time/it wont be perfect/ I ll be treated like a s**t if its a govt office which i feel I don't deserve!
I m not saying, every govt office/employee work this way but most.. MOST o em work this way!

I wish this condition changes.. I personally feel every govt employee should be trained on how to treat people!

Every citizen should be comfortable with the government! Government is formed for the people and by the people. It should serve the people. People deserve it! People are being Taxed for everything in this world! Show them some respect?

My point is, Every govt employee(state and central) should be trained on "How to treat people"!

Will it be helpful? I don't really know!

  1. Well, let us be honest to ourself. Do we deserve a good treatment. I see myself in my countrymen either it be at govt offices or anywhere else, have you said no to to petty bribes? Have you ever followed a system? We people always appreciate quick success and easy way through to meet our selfish needs. If we do care for our society it should start from within rather than blaming a system which is totally eroded with our values and we have a major share of the blame to take !! Stop Cribbing!

  2. Too much of exclamatory marks and question marks.

The system is corrupted, damaged and spoiled. Can't repair it, practically. So, only solution is to accept what we get. Can't change. I know the gyans of "think positive, be the change blah blah blah", but then I am practical. Things will continue to work this way only. Its all to do with attitude of people. Attitude change, people change.

  4. Hi Sudharsan,

System is corrupted and if we shout ... no body will listen.. one should be strong enough to change the system.. effort should be co operative. for an ex i am awaiting PF since last 1 year but could not suceed. even before independance, system was under british.. didnt any one changed??? they were also human beings. problem with us indians is we were always ruled by outsiders for past 2000 years.. history says it.. not me :) if everyone think like why should i take voice then system can not be changed. a simple question,, how many people know about this website www.pgportal.gov.in???
